Multiskilled Engineer (Facilities Maintenance)

Royston, commutable from: Cambridge, Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Newmarket, Buntingford, Bishops Stortford & surrounding areas

Are you an apprentice-trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, looking for a secure long-term days-based position with ongoing training and development opportunities?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist engineering team supporting a large, high-security site in Cambridgeshire, working across multiple buildings and a wide range of building services systems.

Alongside this there will be ongoing training, technical development and opportunities to broaden your M&E expertise, offering long-term progression within a highly professional environment.

The company are the UK's leading facilities management business and you'll be part of a close-knit engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance while using your fault-finding skills to keep critical facilities operating safely and efficiently.

This position would suit an apprentice-trained/NVQ qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, looking for a secure long-term role with development opportunities.

The Role:

  • planned and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings on a secure site
  • Diagnose, fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical building services
  • Complete maintenance records and ensure all work meets health & safety requirements

The Candidate:

  • Apprentice-trained or NVQ3 qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
  • Happy in a multiskilled role
  • Due to security clearances, candidates must hold UK passport
