Electronics Design Engineer

Nottingham

£40,000-£45,000


Im currently recruiting for anElectronics Design Engineer to join a world-leading designer and manufacturer of educational engineering hardware!

If you want a role where you get complete ownership across the full product lifecyclefrom initial concept right through to productionthis is it. You'll be designing the PCB layouts, embedded systems, and real-time firmware that power data acquisition and control systems used by universities and colleges globally.

  • Technical Variety: Bridge the gap between hardware and software by handling PCB design, firmware, and integration with third-party controllers, transducers, and drives.

What we're looking for:
  • Background: Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

  • Experience:5+ years in analogue & digital circuit design, low-power design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.

  • Embedded & Firmware: Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, ADCs, DACs, serial protocols (I2C, SPI, USB), and real-time firmware development (ideally C++).
