Our mission is fueled by a passion for technology as a means to solve complex business problems and achieve our clients' objectives.

About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer to join the Compute & Storage workstream for a major Critical National Infrastructure virtualisation programme, supporting Low-Level Design authoring through to build and commissioning of a dual-site VMware Cloud Foundation / vSAN platform.

  • Hands-on production experience with VMware vSphere and vSAN (ideally vSAN ESA specifically), including cluster design, RAID/FTT policy, and encryption configuration
  • Experience with HPE ProLiant server hardware — deployment, firmware management, iLO configuration
  • Understanding of enterprise backup and DR concepts and hands-on experience with an enterprise backup platform (Rubrik experience specifically is a strong plus)
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure (Active Directory, PKI/AD CS, RDS) to the extent needed to coordinate with an Identity workstream
  • Ability to author and review technical design documentation (LLDs, Diagrams, build guides, configuration standards) to a high, audit-ready standard
  • Comfortable working within a regulated, security-conscious environment and able to engage confidently with customer stakeholders and third-party vendors
