Job Summary B&A is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer – Basic to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations Enterprise Enclave and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave Engineering (IOEE/IOSEE) Support Services.

This is a primarily remote position, within 15 miles of Fort Belvoir, or approved place of performance Off-Site. Pre-approved alternate work locations include select DLA locations and surrounding commuting zones. • Salary Range: $105,000 – $115,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Pre-approved alternate work locations include the following DLA locations and surrounding commuting zones: DLA Disposition Services, Battle Creek, MI; DLA Defense Supply Center, Columbus, OH; DLA Dayton, WPAFB, Dayton, OH; DLA Distribution, New Cumberland, PA; DLA Ogden Defense Depot, Ogden, UT; DLA Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA; DLA Aviation, Richmond, VA; DLA Distribution, Anniston, AL; DLA Distribution, San Diego, CA; DLA Disposition Services, Fort Bragg, NC; DLA Disposition Services, Robins AFB, GA; DLA Disposition Services, Tobyhanna, PA Responsibilities · Experience in telecommunications network design and management.  · Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, or under only general direction, on requirements that are moderately complex to analyze, plan, program, and implement.  · Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services. · Analyzes and develops telecommunications networks supporting a wide range of capabilities, including voice, data, video, and/or wireless services.  · Develops designs and plans for installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project inception to conclusion.  · Analyzes the problem and the characteristics of the information to be transported.  · Defines the problem and develops system requirements and network specifications.  · Closely coordinates with other information system professionals to ensure proper implementation of network services.  · In conjunction with functional users, develops alternative solutions and backup plans. Education and Experience · Three (3) years of relevant experience in network engineering Required Certifications · DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II · Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security Clearance · Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility, adjudicated within the last five (5) years  Physical & Work Environment Requirements Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without accommodation.

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Frequently operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email.
• Occasionally move about the office and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule with regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
