At BAYADA you'll work one-on-one in the home and community settings as a Special Needs Caregiver / DSP for Adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities to help them reach their full potential! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who has ever worked as an Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional, Teacher/ Teaching Assistant or anyone who loves caring and supporting others as they work towards their goals!

BAYADA is urgently hiring part-time Special Needs Caregivers throughout Lancaster County including:  Lancaster, Manheim, Elizabethtown, Landisville, Mountville, Willow Street, New Providence, Leola, New Holland, Ephrata and other towns throughout Lancaster County, PA!

Job Responsibilities for Special Needs - Caregiver - DSP  :

• You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
• You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• You will participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for Special Needs - Caregiver - DSP :

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with the ability to transport clients to and from appointments, errands or outings
• Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant is highly preferred but not required
