Job Description

Ignite IT is seeking a Junior IT Asset Management Technician to support the daily operations of an enterprise IT Asset Management program. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, tracking, issuing, inventorying, relocating, and disposing of government-owned IT equipment while maintaining accurate asset records in ServiceNow (SNOW).

The ideal candidate has experience managing the full IT asset lifecycle, maintaining inventory accountability, and providing excellent customer service in a structured, process-driven environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple IT teams while ensuring the accuracy and accountability of enterprise IT assets.

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a High Public Trust clearance.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Asset Management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using ServiceNow (SNOW) for IT Asset Management.
  • Experience managing the complete IT asset lifecycle, including:
    • Receiving
    • Inventory control
    • Asset issuance
    • Asset recovery
    • Asset relocation
    • Asset disposal
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience performing physical inventories and inventory reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of asset tagging and barcode systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Experience supporting federal government or enterprise IT environments.
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM), Microsoft Intune, or JAMF.
  • Experience shipping and receiving IT equipment.
  • Experience supporting warehouse inventory operations.
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Move computers, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment safely.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
  • Load and unload pallets, carts, and storage bins.
  • Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment as required.
  • Work in office, warehouse, and storage environments.
