The Role

  • Provide technical leadership for a team of network engineers in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure for government environments.
  • Oversee Network Operations Center (NOC) functions to ensure high availability, robust security, and effective incident response.
  • Develop and document detailed network architectures and designs in compliance with stringent government standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement to source necessary network hardware and software, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Lead the installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Resolve complex network issues and provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
  • Expert knowledge of networking protocols, routing (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs), enterprise network design, and security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS).
  • Proficiency in designing and deploying Wide Area Networks (WANs) and understanding of hybrid cloud networking architectures, particularly with Azure.
  • Experience with network management and troubleshooting tools and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Active Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain SCI prior to start.
