Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with 11+ years of progressive experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing full project lifecycles — from initiation through closure — across technology, business, or infrastructure initiatives, with strong stakeholder management and risk mitigation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, scope, budget, and timelines
• Develop comprehensive project charters, schedules, resource plans, and risk/issue logs
• Manage cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, QA, and vendors, ensuring clear accountability and communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular status updates, executive summaries, and steering committee presentations
• Proactively identify project risks and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies to avoid delays or budget overruns
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, including tracking of actuals vs. planned spend
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) or manage Waterfall milestones as appropriate to project methodology
• Coordinate with PMO to ensure adherence to governance standards, methodologies, and documentation requirements
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships, including SOWs, contracts, and deliverable tracking
• Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, systems, or organizational shifts
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and coordinators

Required Qualifications

• 11+ years of progressive project management experience, including at least 5+ years managing large-scale, cross-functional, or enterprise-level projects
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• Proven experience with both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills
• Strong financial acumen — experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/programs in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with distributed/remote and offshore teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in [insert relevant industry — e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Insurance]
• Familiarity with SDLC and IT infrastructure/application delivery projects
• Six Sigma or Lean certification a plus
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or large system implementations (SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, etc.)
