Senior Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) SME

We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) Subject Matter Expert to support the design, implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing management of enterprise endpoint security. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and strong knowledge of endpoint security, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response in large enterprise environments.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
• Experience deploying, configuring, onboarding, and managing Windows endpoints at enterprise scale.
• Configure and optimize EDR, Attack Surface Reduction (ASR), endpoint protection, and security policies.
• Strong experience with Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM), security recommendations, and remediation.
• Investigate endpoint alerts, incidents, suspicious activity, and advanced threats using MDE.
• Experience with Advanced Hunting and KQL for threat investigation and custom detections.
• Integration experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel, and the broader Microsoft Defender XDR ecosystem.
• Ability to assess existing endpoint security configurations, identify gaps, recommend best practices, troubleshoot issues, and lead technical remediation.

Experience: Senior/SME-level resource with strong hands-on Microsoft Defender for Endpoint experience in complex enterprise environments.
