Job Description

Permanent Head of HRWe're partnering with a large, complex multi-site organisation to appoint an experienced Head of HR. Reporting to the HR Director, this is a high-profile leadership role where you'll help translate People strategy into tangible business outcomes across a national operation.This opportunity would suit a commercially minded HR leader who enjoys balancing strategic workforce planning, governance, organisational effectiveness and transformation with hands-on operational delivery.Home Based with National Travel (East Midlands location preferred)
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the organisation's People Operating Review, providing workforce insight, risk analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession planning and organisational capability initiatives.
  • Develop and utilise People Analytics to support business decision-making and future workforce requirements.
  • Strengthen HR governance, compliance, policies and assurance frameworks.
  • Improve HR service delivery, processes, operating models and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead and support organisational change, restructures, organisational design and transformation programmes.
  • Partner with senior operational leaders to drive engagement, performance and workforce capability.
  • Champion inclusion, employee engagement and continuous improvement across the People Function.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head of HR within a complex, multi-site commercial environment.
  • Strong background in workforce planning, organisational design and change management.
  • Experience translating people strategy into measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capability, using workforce data to influence decisions and identify trends.
  • Experience improving HR governance, controls, policies and operating models.
  • Confident influencing and challenging senior leaders.
  • Experience within facilities management, manufacturing, logistics or similar environments would be advantageous.
  • CIPD Level 7 or above or equivalent experience.
