Senior Project Manager, Cybersecurity
Location: Providence, Rhode Island (Remote)
Role Overview
The Senior/Lead Project Manager (PM/BA) is responsible for leading and delivering IT projects while supporting business analysis activities to ensure solutions meet business needs. Responsibilities include managing project execution, governance, resources, risks, budgets, and stakeholder collaboration to achieve project objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced project professional with strong PMO discipline, organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and recover troubled projects while maintaining comprehensive, accurate, and audit-ready project documentation.
Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, planning, execution, monitoring, closure, and achievement of project outcomes.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners to manage schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and project progress.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, actions, and change requests; support deployment and operational transition activities; and drive projects to successful completion.
• Lead project recovery efforts for initiatives that are off track, including development and execution of corrective action plans.
• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation.
• Develop and maintain requirements artifacts, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
• Adhere to PMO, SDLC, and project governance standards.
• Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, financial trackers, resource plans, RAID logs, meeting notes, status reports, approvals, and governance artifacts.
• Publish status reports and maintain project records, milestones, and status information in Clarity and other PMO tools.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready project documentation.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, or a combined BA/PM role with demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. Experience leading enterprise technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, or business transformation projects. Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and project governance across multiple concurrent projects. Experience operating within a structured PMO environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Clarity PPM, DocuSign, and Microsoft Copilot.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Cybersecurity or Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) initiatives is preferred.
