PCB Designer

Location: Germantown, MD Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $80.00 USD Hourly Description:


PCB Designer opportunity with a client in the satellite communications and aerospace technology industry.

6+ month contract with strong likelihood of conversion to FTE
Onsite in Germantown, MD

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex multilayer printed circuit boards for satellite communication products
• Create PCB layouts while collaborating closely with electrical, RF, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
• Support board bring-up, testing, validation, and production readiness activities
• Drive design optimization for signal integrity, manufacturability, reliability, and cost
• Participate in design reviews and support product development from concept through production

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of PCB design experience
• Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, or similar
• Experience with multilayer board layouts, component placement, and routing
• Familiarity with high-speed digital, RF, power, or mixed-signal designs
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, DFM/DFT, and industry standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams
