Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large datasets, reporting tools, databases, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data from relational databases.

• Use Excel and analytical tools to perform data analysis and reporting.

• Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.

• Perform data quality checks and resolve data inconsistencies.

• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and management reports as required.

• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, finance, operations, and business teams.

• Document data sources, reporting processes, metrics, and analytical methodologies.

• Support automation and improvement of recurring reporting processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, validation, and reporting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Python or R for data analysis.

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive analytics.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
