We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join an enterprise infrastructure engineering team in Lower Manhattan. This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who enjoys building, automating and supporting highly resilient, secure AWS environments where reliability and scalability truly matter.

You will work with a broad AWS technology stack while helping engineer cloud infrastructure that supports critical enterprise applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants ownership, technical challenge and the ability to work closely with an experienced engineering team.

What You’ll Be Doing

·       Build, maintain and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code

·       Design and maintain automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines

·       Deploy and support custom applications, AWS services and commercial software within AWS

·       Build and maintain highly resilient and secure cloud infrastructure

·       Containerize applications and middleware for AWS deployment

·       Support deployment, recovery and rehydration of AWS environments

·       Work across AWS networking, compute, database, storage, security and monitoring services

·       Collaborate with engineering teams and internal customers to solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges

What We’re Looking For

Strong hands-on experience with:

·       AWS Cloud Infrastructure

·       Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

·       GitLab CI/CD

·       EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, RDS PostgreSQL, SQL RDS and ECS/Fargate

·       VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, ALB/ELB, Route 53, DNS and EFS

·       CloudWatch and Grafana

·       AWS IAM, encryption, key management, certificates and vulnerability management

·       Containerized middleware such as NGINX, JBoss, Tomcat or Corretto

·       Working knowledge of Java, Python or Scala

·       DevSecOps, Agile/Scrum and JIRA environments

·       Experience with Databricks, Starburst, AWS Glue, EKS, Multi-AZ or Multi-Region AWS architectures is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and AWS certifications are preferred.
