We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong operational and DevOps background to support a critical third-party application hosted in AWS. This role is focused on maintaining production stability, ensuring infrastructure reliability, remediating vulnerabilities, and driving enterprise security and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting production AWS environments, maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC), troubleshooting live systems, and working within highly regulated enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain and support production AWS infrastructure and applications.
  • Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of existing cloud environments.
  • Execute enterprise security and compliance initiatives.
  • Identify, prioritize, and remediate infrastructure, application, container, and OS vulnerabilities.
  • Manage AWS Secrets Manager, automated credential rotation, and certificate management.
  • Maintain and update Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Chef cookbooks.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using CloudWatch and New Relic.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and infrastructure performance.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, configuration management, and patching activities.
  • Read, troubleshoot, and modify PowerShell and/or Python automation scripts.
  • Maintain configuration code using GitHub and enterprise pull request workflows.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure operational excellence.

Required Qualifications


  • Strong experience supporting production AWS environments.
  • Experience with enterprise Cloud Operations or DevOps.
  • Hands-on AWS infrastructure administration.
  • Experience supporting highly available production systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and operational support background.
  • Experience working within regulated enterprise environments.
  • Ability to support existing applications rather than greenfield development.
