Pediatrician (m/f/d) for Neuropediatric Training | Vogtareuth, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a dedicated pediatrician to join a leading national center for pediatric neurology, neuro-rehabilitation, and epileptology. This facility is renowned as a certified epilepsy center for children and adolescents, specializing in epilepsy surgery and offering comprehensive rehabilitation services. You will work within a highly interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with various medical and therapeutic specialists to provide exceptional care for children and adolescents with complex neurological conditions.

The Role

• Undertake structured neuropediatric training, with opportunities to pursue individual interests.
• Gain experience across all areas of the center, including epilepsy surgery monitoring, conservative epileptology, and rehabilitation.
• Develop expertise in diagnostics and therapy, including EEG/cMRT interpretation, assistive device provision, and botulinum toxin treatment.
• Deepen knowledge in video-EEG long-term monitoring (non-invasive and invasive) and intraoperative monitoring.
• Work within a specialized team focused on pre-surgical epilepsy diagnostics and epilepsy surgery.
• Receive regular one-on-one teaching from senior epileptologists to ensure targeted professional development.

What You'll Need

• A strong interest in neuropediatrics and epileptology; prior experience is beneficial but not essential.
• A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of interdisciplinary teamwork.
• High levels of empathy and commitment to caring for children with complex and chronic illnesses, and their families.
• Willingness to be a fully qualified pediatrician or in advanced training.
