Conference Portfolio Manager
£Up to £60,000 + Bonuses
London UK + International Travel
My client is looking for a commercially focused, research led producer with an interest in the growing a to take on an exciting, growth portfolio, playing a central role in shaping and delivering the event. This is a high energy, executive-level conference bringing together CEOs, operators, investors, and brands driving the future of the Technology space. As a Producer, you will take ownership of researching the market, identifying key trends, securing senior-level speakers, and building compelling, commercially relevant agendas that attract decision makers and sponsors.
Your Skills and Attributes
- Conduct desk research, telephone interviews and face-to-face meetings with leading market practitioners. Be able to articulate and demonstrate how the portfolio serves the industry.
- Write commercially viable conference programmes, determining the focus of the event and each talk whilst leading the overall direction of the portfolio (both in content and commercial sense).
- Source and secure leading speakers from the industry, utilising well-developed and productive networks across the portfolio so that you are recognisable in the industry that you serve.
- Project manage the portfolio with other departments, including working with marketing to ensure that the correct market segments are reached, and agreeing on sales plan with sponsorship.
Experience Required
5 + years’ experience in b2b conference programming
• Experience in the production of complex event programmes and managing a wide roster of executive speakers
• Proven success in growing event brands commercially and strategically.
- Demonstrable leadership and advanced project management skills.
- Experience of strategic portfolio development and/or new event idea validation with commercial viability
- Excellent stakeholder management with communication and persuasion skills
A natural entrepreneur who is interested in combining research and advance business skills to have true ownership of your conference products’ financials and commercial trajectory
