STUDENT-MTD Audition and Interview Authorized Monitors AY2026-27

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance is seeking students to assist in monitoring audition and/or interview rooms with authorized faculty members (monitors do not participate in the audition or interview process unless requested by faculty) for both on-campus and Zoom auditions and interviews. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist applicants to the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in getting to their audition and interview rooms.
• Keep faculty on schedule to complete auditions and interviews in the allotted time.
• Act as the third party in the “rule of three” for applicants under the age of 18 if necessary.
• Act as ambassadors for the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance and answer questions from applicants, families, and supporters.
• Enforce and follow policies and procedures as outlined by the Ithaca College Risk Management Protection of Minors Policy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matriculated School of Music, Theatre, and Dance student at Ithaca College.
• Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with a diverse population of applicants and their supporters.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and work-ethic.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Required to pass and complete upon hiring:

• Availability for the majority of the following audition and interview sessions:

    • Saturday, February 20, 7:30am-1:30pm

    • Saturday, December 5, 2026: 8:00am – 12:00pm (Live); 1:00pm-5:00pm (Zoom)
    • Saturday, January 16, 2027: 8:00am-12:00pm (Live); 1:00pm-5:00pm (Zoom)
    • Saturday, January 30, 2027: 8:00am-12:00pm (Live); 1:00pm-5:00pm (Zoom)
    • Saturday, February 13, 2027: 8:00am-12:00pm (Live); 1:00pm-5:00pm (Zoom)
    • Saturday, February 20, 2027: 8:00am-12:00pm (Live); 1:00pm-5:00pm (Zoom)

PAY RATE:

• $16.15/hr
