Overview

The role involves partnering with stakeholders to translate complex inputs into practical learning that drives behaviour change.

Responsibilities
  • Learning design: design end-to-end digital learning experiences from needs analysis and learning architecture through to build, launch and iteration.
  • Design and develop visually engaging learning content using modern authoring tools.
  • Facilitate training using a range of modalities (in-person, virtual, asynchronous) to cater to different learning preferences and maximise impact.
  • Maintain and contribute to design standards, authoring templates and quality frameworks that define what good looks like for the firm.
  • Apply principles from andragogy, learning science and innovative learning design to create experiences that change behaviour, not just transfer information.
  • Measure and assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives using data and learner insights.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on content design, integrating external best practice and the latest thinking.
  • Stakeholder engagement: partner with stakeholders to clarify business goals, learner needs and success measures to co-design engaging learning solutions; collaborate with subject-m matter experts and teams.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing stakeholder expectations with design quality and delivery timelines.
  • Support and influence colleagues to raise the overall standard of learning design across the firm.
About you
  • Solid experience in training, learning and development or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing digital and blended learning (beyond e-learning).
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate study.
  • Practical experience using authoring and design tools.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Understanding of UX, human-centred design and inclusive design.
  • Experience managing projects and competing priorities using structured tools and methodologies.
  • Curiosity, creativity and a willingness to experiment with new ideas and ways of working.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (listening, coaching, negotiating, influencing).
  • Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment and build relationships.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and mentor others.
