Maintenance Engineer (Nationwide)

Preventative Maintenance Engineer (Nationwide) £180 per night shift (Outside IR35) | 4-6 Week Project | Immediate Start We are looking for 6 Field Engineers to support a nationwide preventative maintenance programme across multiple retail locations.

Areas Required Scotland &amp; North East<br />Yorkshire &amp; East Midlands<br />North West &amp; West Midlands<br />South Wales, South West &amp; South Coast<br />London, South East &amp; East Anglia<br />Northern IrelandThe Role Working night shifts, you will visit one retail site per shift and carry out preventative maintenance activities on a variety of IT and EPOS equipment.

Duties will include cleaning and inspecting handheld devices, printers, tills, self-scan units, scales and associated hardware, ensuring equipment remains in good working condition.

You will also complete communications room audits, including checking server serial numbers, removing identified legacy equipment, fitting supplied components, cleaning cabinet areas, creating cabinet maps and capturing photographic evidence.

Engineers will be responsible for accurately recording asset information, reporting damaged or unavailable equipment, documenting any access issues and completing all required project reports through the client's reporting process.

This is a field-based role requiring a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently and confidence using mobile devices or laptops to complete project documentation. Project Details Start Date: 11th October<br />Duration:

Approx. 4-6 weeks<br />Sunday to Thursday nights<br />Typically 8:00pm to 4:00am<br />One site per shift<br />5 shifts per week (subject to schedule)<br />Training provided on first siteRequirements Previous IT, EPOS, field engineering, hardware maintenance or deployment experience preferred<br />Full UK driving licence and own vehicle<br />Comfortable working night work and travelling Able to use a smartphone, tablet or laptop to complete reports and upload photographs<br />Comfortable working in retail environments and carrying out physical tasks including bending, kneeling and accessing equipment in confined spacesRate &amp; Expenses £180 per shift (includes 8 hours onsite and first 75 miles travel)<br />Mileage over 75 miles paid at 33p per mile<br />Parking, tolls (excluding M6 Toll), ULEZ and congestion charges claimable where applicable Apply today with your CV
