StaffRight Associates is sourcing for an exceptional Maintenance and Reliability Engineer for a premier global partner in the chemical manufacturing sector. Stationed in Ashtabula, Ohio, this vital position shapes the structural longevity and operational excellence of advanced production facilities. You will spearhead sophisticated asset care frameworks and direct engineering initiatives designed to optimize plant uptime, champion safety compliance, and secure enduring manufacturing success.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct engineering operations to maximize equipment availability and asset longevity across the production facility.

  • Investigate performance analytics to pinpoint underperforming assets and deploy targeted corrective solutions.

  • Architect robust Preventive Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity frameworks to sustain peak facility efficiency.

  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis workshops and drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate chronic equipment failures.

  • Monitor key performance metrics, including Mean Time Between Repair, to evaluate maintenance efficacy.

  • Champion regulatory adherence alongside the 20 Principles Safety Program and ISO 9000 benchmarks.

  • Execute Process Hazard Analysis, Incident Investigations, and Management of Change evaluations.

  • Coordinate facility evaluations while enforcing strict adherence to established upkeep schedules.

  • Partner seamlessly with external vendors, suppliers, and internal cross-functional groups to sustain continuous facility operations.

  • Direct capital expenditure projects valued up to $150K while advancing site-wide cost optimization objectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Between 5 and 15 years of professional background within a Chemical Manufacturing Environment.

  • Deep technical expertise concerning heavy industrial machinery, featuring Pumps, Compressors, Piping, Vessels, Exchangers, and Relief Valves.

  • Proven mastery of Reliability Methodologies, Mechanical Integrity Programs, and Maintenance Best Practices.

  • Advanced analytical acumen combined with troubleshooting proficiency and Cost-Effective Solutions implementation.

  • Prior system administration capability utilizing Sap and alternative Computerized Maintenance Management Systems or Cmms.

  • Exceptional Communication, Leadership, and Problem-Solving Skills.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Annual salary range spanning $125,000 to $150,000.

  • Annual performance incentive targeted at 20 percent.

  • Comprehensive relocation assistance provided.

  • Retirement contribution structure featuring up to a 9 percent total allocation, combining a 6 percent match with a 3 percent annual corporate contribution.
