Job Description

Securities Finance Project Manager

Location: London
Contract: Contract
Rate: Up to £92 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Securities Finance Project Manager to join a leading global financial services organisation, supporting a key programme within Securities Finance Operations.

This is a hands-on role focused on operational change, process improvement and testing, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with business and technical communities
  • Manage the Operations process review lifecycle, including root cause analysis and metrics reporting
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching for new and existing processes
  • Manage process usability and load testing across testing and production environments
  • Ensure end-to-end test environment readiness, working with internal and external support groups
  • Support and coordinate UAT activities
  • Identify potential problems and areas for improvement, developing and implementing effective solutions
  • Develop and review new Operations business flows and processes
  • Evaluate toolsets, make recommendations and justify decisions
  • Prepare reports and present information to management
  • Manage multiple deadlines and large testing projects in a fast-paced environment

Experience Required

  • Strong Securities Finance Operations experience
  • Experience within a Broker Dealer or Prime Broker environment highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of financial trading and clearing
  • Previous experience developing new Operations business flows
  • Experience delivering UAT, testing and process improvement/change
  • Knowledge of process flow development and analysis methodologies
  • Previous project management or supervisory experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational capabilities
  • Fixed Income knowledge is advantageous
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project

This is a great opportunity for someone with deep Securities Finance knowledge who has moved into project, change or process improvement work and is comfortable managing complex operational change from end to end.
