Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to join a premium brand within the automotive sector. This role is a blend of Business Analysis and Systems Analysis, requiring a professional who can act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT development teams to deliver technology-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business processes, stakeholder management, and project management, with the ability to critically evaluate and translate business needs into actionable IT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business/end users and IT systems development teams to address business needs requiring IT solutions.
• Identify and analyze business requirements, conduct requirements gathering, and define project scope and objectives.
• Recommend solutions or improvements to business processes through new or existing technology.
• Research and document the relationships between application system components, including end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices.
• Translate business requirements into detailed application requirements.
• Support business initiatives by utilising project management expertise.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Serve as the conduit between business units and IT teams to ensure seamless communication and requirement flow.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in IT Business Systems Analysis or a related field.
• Proven experience in analysing and improving business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• High standards for written communication and documentation.
• Ability to critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and identify true business needs.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.

Day-to-Day

• Work independently with general supervision to address business challenges.
• Analyze and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with IT capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet business objectives.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and technology enhancements.
• Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with SLAs.
• Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders and IT teams.
