The Role

• Provide crucial support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Program Offices, including those for COLUMBIA Class, VIRGINIA Class, and the Future Attack Submarine (SSN(X)).
• Contribute to the engineering and acquisition efforts for submarine research, development, and maintenance.
• Apply scientific and mathematical principles to develop technical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Design, test, and qualify naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment.
• Analyze the environmental and user impact of developed products and systems.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in any technical or engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the design, testing, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
• Experience with large electrical machines and/or power electronics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a secret security clearance.
