Job Description

Requirements
  • 5 or more years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity engineering, threat automation, and systems architecture.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting, custom security tool development, and REST API integrations.
  • Experience with Linux system administration, Docker container management, and security sensor deployments.
  • Experience in building automated SOAR workflows using PowerShell, Bash, JSON, YAML, and vendor SDKs.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control, and API credential security.
  • Experience in enterprise platforms including SIEM, XDR, Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, Tenable, and Cribl.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain custom Python-based security automations, command-line utilities, and internal web applications.
  • Build automated incident response and alert triage workflows connecting SIEM, XDR, and SOAR platforms.
  • Deploy, configure, patch, and monitor Linux servers and Docker containers hosting security sensors and log collectors.
  • Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, user provisioning workflows, and API credential management.
  • Develop custom tools for CVE vulnerability vetting, enrichment, prioritization, and security decision support.
  • Support SOC analysts and incident response teams by providing technical escalations and operational handoffs.
  • Author automation playbooks, technical system runbooks, and engineering documentation for enterprise security tools.
