About the Role

AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Retail & E-Commerce to support security operations across retail and e-commerce environments. This role focuses on monitoring cyber threats, protecting customer and transactional data, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting incident response activities. Ideal for early-career cyber security professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activities

• Analyze security logs using SIEM and security monitoring tools

• Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities

• Assist with network, endpoint, and application security

• Support incident detection, response, and documentation

• Help protect customer, payment, and transactional data

• Assist with identity and access management activities

• Support security audits and risk assessments

• Maintain security documentation and incident reports

Required Qualifications

• 1 2 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related role

• Understanding of cyber security and network security fundamentals

• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux environments

• Understanding of common cyber threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and unauthorized access

• Basic knowledge of incident response and security monitoring

• Exposure to AWS or cloud security concepts

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills
