About the Role
Lead a team building an AI context platform for a collaborative data and analytics product. You will shape how people understand, evaluate, and improve the context that informs AI agents working with business data.
What You'll Do
Lead the engineering team responsible for the context platform.
Set technical direction, review designs, and contribute hands-on to development.
Manage and support engineers, helping them do high-quality work and grow.
Recruit strong engineering talent for the team.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.
Experience managing a team of 3 to 15 engineers and leading technical product development.
Recent, hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.
Proficiency with TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.
Background in a high-growth startup and experience building products for technical users, such as developer tools or data products.
Strong computer science fundamentals, supported by a CS degree or equivalent technical education.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California, or New York, New York, with regular in-office work.
