Job Role: Oracle DBA

Location: New York, NY/Lake Merry, FL

Job Description:

Expectations from Role

o Optimization of SQL query, Analyzing execution plans.

o Create and maintain database objects likes Tables, Index, Sequence etc.

o Monitoring Database using OEM. Tuning of Oracle objects.

o Experience in Performance Tuning at Database and Application level.

o Must have good troubleshooting skills.

o Understanding Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), Oracle hints, Active Session History (ASH) reports is a must.

o Strong knowledge of source control and release management tools.

o Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.

o Flexible to extend the work hours based on Project delivery need.

o Oracle DBA, Real Application Cluster (RAC), Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM), Performance Tuning

o RMAN Backup & Recovery

o RAC, Data Guard, ASM, Security & Patching

o GoldenGate, Exadata support

Secondary Skills

o Shareplex, Database Migration & Upgrade

o Linux & Shell Scripting

o Monitoring Tools, Automation and Other Database hands-on (Postgres/Mongo).
