At Home Instead, we believe care is personal. We support older adults to remain independent, comfortable, and connected in their own homes and we’re looking for kind, compassionate people to join our friendly team covering Marlborough and surrounding areas.

Your Role 

As a Care Assistant, you’ll build meaningful relationships with regular clients and provide high-quality, person-centred care, including: 

  • Personal care and daily support 

  • Meal preparation and medication assistance 

  • Companionship, conversation and reassurance 

  • Support with outings, appointments and pet care 

Working With Us 

  • Average 30 hours per week 

  • Availability required between 7.30am – 10pm (split shifts) 

  • Alternate weekends, with a day off in lieu 

  • Paid client introductions, so you feel confident and supported from day one 

What We Offer 

  • Paid travel and waiting time, plus 45p per mile mileage allowance

  • Full training provided to achieve your Care Certificate and beyond 

  • Ongoing support from a welcoming local team 
    (Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.) 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a naturally caring, empathetic, dependable, and patient disposition.

  • Experience: No formal care experience required, full training will be provided to achieve your Care Certificate and beyond. Previous personal or professional care experience is welcomed but not essential.

  • A caring, dependable, and professional approach 

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to the rural nature of our client base) 

  • Right to work in the UK 

  • An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
