Location: Arden, NC

We are seeking a Material Planner to manage material supply, inventory, supplier schedules, and production requirements while ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material supply plans based on production demand and forecasts.
• Monitor and resolve material shortages, supplier backlogs, and delivery issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers on recovery plans, delivery schedules, ETAs, and expedited shipments.
• Use SAP/ERP systems to manage supplier schedules, releases, inventory, and material requirements.
• Track raw material inventory and optimize stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
• Monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and develop improvement strategies.
• Manage EDI releases, inbound/outbound shipments, exception messages, and supplier portals.
• Support engineering changes, new product launches, material master data, and production planning.
• Prepare reports related to inventory, supplier performance, material risks, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Production Planning, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience with material planning, scheduling, MRP/ERP systems, and inventory management.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
