**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and manage large-scale relational and non-relational database systems like MariaDB, MongoDB, and others.
- Enhance database performance through advanced strategies and tooling development in Python.
- Ensure system reliability with robust failover designs and disaster recovery plans.
- Orchestrate containerized database workloads using Kubernetes for optimal scaling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven applications and initiatives.

**Core Qualifications:**
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related experience equivalent.
- 1-5 years in database or systems engineering.
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases; strong skills in Python scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes and strong Linux fundamentals.
- Capability to thrive in a pressure-driven production environment.
- Knowledge of AI tools for workflow enhancement.

**Desirable Skills:**
- Experience with graph databases, Oracle, or ProxySQL.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Previous experience in trading or production environments.
