Description:Consultant - Analytics Solutions team
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Consulting Pacific team at Marsh Risk Solutions. This role will be based in Australia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This Consultant role sits within our Analytics Solutions team and offers the opportunity to combine technical problem solving with high-value client engagement. You will work across complex actuarial and risk analytics matters, partnering with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to deliver practical advice and clear recommendations.
The role will suit someone who is comfortable taking ownership, working with senior stakeholders, and contributing to the development of our onshore and offshore capability. While actuarial qualifications are valued, strong relevant experience in general insurance and consulting or insurer environments will also be considered.
We will count on you to:
Deliver actuarial and risk analytics work across client engagements with a high standard of quality and professionalism
Work directly with clients, external brokers, and senior stakeholders to support trusted relationships and strong service delivery
Translate technical findings into clear, practical insights for clients and colleagues
Apply sound judgement to complex business and risk issues and make balanced recommendations where there is no single perfect answer
Coordinate effectively across onshore and offshore team members to support delivery and collaboration
Support, mentor, and at times manage junior team members as the practice grows
Contribute to client relationship management and business development activity as appropriate
What you need to have:
Relevant actuarial or broader insurance industry experience, ideally with exposure to general insurance
Experience in either an insurer or consulting environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience managing stakeholder relationships and working through uncertainty to provide practical recommendations
