Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Union Counter Sales Representative.

Position Details

Schedule |
Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed, plus one Saturday per month from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Responsibilities:
Operate cash registers and follows established cash handling procedures
Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
Actively engage in developing more effective customer service skills
Provides honest and trustworthy advice to customers regarding the best products that fit the customers’ expectations
Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
Responsible for performing warehouse duties as needed
May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities
Qualifications:
0-3 years experience preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid state issued license is required
Follow all DOT standards and regulations
Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements
Basic knowledge of products is preferred
Warehouse background is a great plus
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
General math skills to allow for cash accounting
An ability to learn is a must have!
