This employer is seeking a skilled individual to contribute to the construction and modernization of substation projects, playing a vital role in the energy transition. They are looking for a motivated professional to join their team and help shape a sustainable energy future in Western Germany.

The Role

• Assemble steel structures for medium, high, and extra-high voltage switchgear (up to 380kV).
• Install high and medium voltage equipment, electrical systems, and associated components like clamps and insulators.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, including pipe and cable erection.
• Review and mark up project documentation according to plan.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in locksmithing, preferably within the construction, mechanical engineering, energy, or metal processing industries.
• Ideally, experience working safely with electrical systems.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and a willingness to travel to job sites with a personal vehicle.
• Readiness for regular site assignments across Western Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a proactive, self-motivated work attitude.
