MCTIMS Training Specialist (Subject Matter Expert) Location: Jacksonville, NC
Customer: United States Marine Corps (USMC) Position Summary F2 Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) Training Specialist to support the United States Marine Corps in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge of MCTIMS, its various modules, and the Marine Corps orders, policies, and regulations governing training and education across all organizational levels.

This position combines instructor-led training with direct MCTIMS user support. The selected candidate must be capable of delivering effective instruction to Marine Corps personnel, including senior leadership, while applying their MCTIMS expertise to troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver instructor-led MCTIMS training to Marine Corps personnel, including senior officers and enlisted leadership.
  • Conduct classroom training for groups of up to 30 participants, ensuring effective instruction and audience engagement.
  • Provide expert instruction on MCTIMS modules, system functionality, workflows, and practical application.
  • Explain and demonstrate how MCTIMS supports Marine Corps training management, readiness, and reporting requirements.
  • Incorporate applicable Marine Corps orders, directives, and training regulations into instructional content.
  • Tailor training delivery to accommodate different audiences, including system users, training managers, and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain instructional materials, presentations, practical exercises, and other training resources.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve MCTIMS user trouble tickets using expert knowledge of system functionality, workflows, and applicable Marine Corps training requirements.
  • Provide guidance to users experiencing MCTIMS errors, procedural issues, or difficulties completing system-related tasks.
  • Document troubleshooting actions and resolutions, and escalate issues requiring additional technical support when appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Government representatives to identify training objectives, requirements, and scheduling priorities.
  • Identify recurring user issues and knowledge gaps to recommend improvements to training materials and user guidance. Required Qualifications
  • Expert-level proficiency with MCTIMS, including extensive hands-on experience across multiple modules.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Marine Corps training management processes, policies, orders, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting formal classroom instruction or professional training.
  • Ability to confidently deliver instruction to audiences of up to 30 participants, including senior military leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve MCTIMS user issues through practical system knowledge and problem-solving.
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical processes and regulatory requirements clearly and effectively.
  • Experience developing instructional materials and conducting practical system demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps organizational structure, operational training requirements, and training management responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Marine Corps formal school instructor, military instructor, or equivalent.
  • Prior service in the United States Marine Corps, particularly in training, operations, or education-related assignments.
  • Experience instructing senior officers, senior enlisted personnel, or command-level training managers.
  • Experience supporting Marine Corps training management programs at the unit, installation, or higher headquarters level.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Previous experience providing MCTIMS functional user support or resolving system-related trouble tickets.
