A vibrant girls' school in Acton, West London, seeks a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in Textiles. This full-time, permanent position, commencing in January 2025, offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of design and making, and equip students with valuable practical skills in a supportive and empowering learning environment.

  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Design & Technology curriculum that incorporates current industry practices and sustainable design principles.
  • Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their well-being and personal development.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Design & Technology education.
  • Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of textile design principles, techniques, and materials.
  • Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
