A vibrant girls' school in Acton, West London, seeks a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in Textiles. This full-time, permanent position, commencing in January 2025, offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of design and making, and equip students with valuable practical skills in a supportive and empowering learning environment.

The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Textiles.
- Project-Based Learning: Guide students through exciting design projects, encouraging them to develop their creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Design & Technology curriculum that incorporates current industry practices and sustainable design principles.
- Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their well-being and personal development.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Design & Technology education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of textile design principles, techniques, and materials.
- Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Design & Technology department.
