Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (Google Cloud Platform & Terraform)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for a long-term engagement to scale, automate, and optimize our enterprise cloud infrastructure. In this high-impact role, you will focus on building, refactoring, and modernizing our Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) foundation and deployment workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and robust CI/CD pipelines.

You will partner closely with our core engineering and product teams across our regional hubs to ensure high availability, secure cloud governance, and seamless software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, write, and maintain modular, reusable Terraform code to provision and manage multi-region Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure.
• Environment Modernization: Architect and refine core landing zone structures, including VPCs, Shared VPCs, IAM roles, service accounts, Cloud NAT, and advanced firewall rules.
• CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Build, scale, and optimize deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build) to fully automate secure Terraform plan/apply workflows and application deployments.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Standardize configuration, monitoring, and deployment setups for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters and microservices architectures.
• Reliability & Monitoring: Implement robust logging, metrics, and alerting strategies (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure optimal system health and uptime.
• Documentation & Handoff: Create comprehensive operational runbooks and architectural documentation for long-term operational sustainability.
