Job Description

Value Technology is seeking an experienced Oracle Demand Management Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Supply Chain Planning and Demand Management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Demand Management solutions, with a strong understanding of forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, and end-to-end supply chain processes.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, functional leads, and technical teams to design and implement scalable demand planning solutions using Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support Oracle Demand Management and related Supply Chain Planning modules.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle Demand Management solutions.
• Develop and maintain demand planning, forecasting, and statistical forecasting processes.
• Configure demand plans, forecasting profiles, measures, hierarchies, and planning parameters.
• Work with historical demand data, forecast data, sales orders, shipments, and other demand signals.
• Configure and support Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, demand variability, trends, seasonality, and exceptions.
• Support Demand Review / Supply Review / S&OP processes.
• Develop and manage demand planning measures, worksheets, dashboards, and analytics.
• Work with Oracle integrations involving ERP, Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external systems.
• Troubleshoot data, integration, planning, and forecasting issues.
• Participate in end-to-end testing, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documents, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, data loads, reports, and integrations.
• Provide recommendations for improving forecast accuracy and overall supply chain performance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Demand Management / Oracle Supply Chain Planning.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and/or Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Strong understanding of Demand Planning and Forecasting.
• Experience with statistical forecasting, demand sensing, forecast consumption, and forecast accuracy.
• Knowledge of Supply Planning, Global Order Promising (GOP), Inventory, and Order Management.
• Experience configuring planning dimensions, hierarchies, measures, calendars, and planning parameters.
• Strong understanding of S&OP / IBP processes.
• Experience with Oracle data integration and interfaces.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, or Oracle Analytics is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Oracle Cloud SCM certification.
• Experience with Oracle Demand Management Cloud implementations.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, or distribution environments.
• Knowledge of Oracle Planning Central / Supply Planning.
• Experience with ERP-to-planning data integrations.
• Experience working in Agile implementation environments.
