Senior Cyber Security Software Engineer

Optimum is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Software Engineer to secure advanced broadband, mobile, and entertainment platforms. You will design and implement secure software, perform threat modeling, automate security testing, and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines. Partner closely with network, cloud, and product teams to protect large scale, multi state telecommunications systems and customer data. In Optimum's fast paced, innovation driven culture, you'll mentor engineers, drive best practices, and help evolve defenses against emerging attacks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure software for broadband, mobile, and entertainment platforms.
• Embed security into the full software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform threat modeling, code reviews, and security testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Automate static and dynamic application security testing and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, and product teams to secure large-scale telecom systems.
• Develop and enforce secure coding standards and best practices across engineering teams.
• Investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities and support incident response efforts.
• Mentor engineers on cyber security concepts, tools, and practices.
