Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Platform Ownership

• Define and govern the target-state architecture across API, compute, storage, messaging, security, and hosting services.
• Establish architecture standards and best practices for API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, Aurora, SNS/SQS, EventBridge, Cognito, and Secrets Manager.
• Drive platform scalability, resilience, performance, and cost optimisation strategies.



Technical Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of cloud engineering and architecture experience, including enterprise-scale AWS platforms.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification preferred.

• Deep expertise in:

Amazon API Gateway
AWS Lambda
AWS Step Functions
Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
AWS SNS & SQS
AWS EventBridge
AWS CloudFront
Amazon Route 53
AWS Cognito
AWS Secrets Manager
AWS Shield & AWS WAF

• Strong experience designing serverless, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, SAM, or Terraform.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2/OIDC, cloud security architecture, IAM, networking, DNS, TLS, and VPC design.
• Experience establishing DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence standards.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and provide technical leadership across delivery teams.
