Job Title: Electronic Technician 3 – Avionics Development

Location: Rancho Bernardo, CA- Onsite

Client: American aerospace and defense company

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Job Summary:

Major Aerospace Company is seeking an Electronic Technician 3 to support its Avionics Development Center. The candidate will assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic systems and components in a production and development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems, circuit boards, and components.

·       Perform component-level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.

·       Conduct electrical testing, diagnostics, and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, VOMs, DVMs, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers.

·       Perform environmental stress, vibration, and thermal testing.

·       Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

·       Perform cable, wire harness, and circuit card assembly, including soldering.

·       Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities.

·       Follow ESD, FOD, safety, and quality standards.

Basic Qualifications:

·       4+ years of related experience OR equivalent electronics training (2 years of technical trade or military technical school).

·       Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience with RF systems, embedded electronics, and analog/digital circuits.

·       Component-level troubleshooting and experience using VOM/DVM and electronic test equipment.

·       IPC-A-610 Class III Surface Mount certification.

·       Experience in avionics troubleshooting and manufacturing environments.

·       Government or military experience preferred.

Must have strong component-level troubleshooting skills, experience with analog/digital circuits, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and operate electronic test equipment.
