Job Description

TSPV/TSPA Cleared System Engineer - Linux, Automation & Infrastructure

Join a secure, technically complex environment where you will support infrastructure and platform engineering across the full system development lifecycle. These opportunities are ideal for experienced System Engineers with strong Linux administration, system hardening, automation, and configuration management skills who can contribute to design, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Location:ACT - Onsite
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current TSPV/TSPA clearance.
This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements. We are committed to a non-discriminatory hiring process but, unfortunately, cannot provide visa sponsorship for overseas applicants.

Essential Tasks
  • Provide engineering support across the system development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and support
  • Install, configure, maintain, and decommission hardware and software across complex infrastructure environments
  • Develop and maintain scripts, automation, configuration management, and integration build activities
  • Support test and verification activities, resolve technical issues, and engage with relevant stakeholders
Key Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux administration and system hardening
  • Strong experience in configuration management, automation, and infrastructure support
  • Experience with system installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to contribute to infrastructure and platform design in complex secure environments
