Working with both the Growth Sales Team and local Account Management Teams, the Growth
Leader is responsible for growing the business, building a solid pipeline of new driveway opportunities
and executing sales plan assigned within the DACH Region, defined geographical areas and/or
industry vertical. The Growth Leader will sell the full portfolio of Chemical Monitoring Solutions (CMS)
products and services.

Essential responsibilities

The following activities are a guideline; others can be part of the job scope:

  • Effectively manage a large number of CSM opportunities in all phases of the selling cycle from screening to closing with an emphasis on closing by selling the value of our products and service solutions. 

  • Must be team player, highly motivated, proactive and able to work in an unsupervised and safe manner

  • Must have an analytical mindset and maintain an open communication

  • Proactively develop new driveways in the assigned region & business sector

  • Developing strong professional relationships with key influencers

  • Developing and manage a pipeline of business opportunities for the assigned region/sector, and a clear strategy for achieving sustainable success on these projects

  • Taking part in the segmentation, prioritization process for the CMS business, providing the Management all relevant data associated with achieving specified targets

  • Achieving ongoing sales growth and profitability targets in the region selling the full portfolio of products and services in partnership with the Account Management Team

  • Providing a high-level of technical sales support to the Account Management team on a specific series of Industrial applications

  • Collect and analyze Business Intelligence for the assigned region & business sector to define a pro-active winning strategy

  • To achieve CSM recurring revenue target for the region set by the Regional Manager.

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering (Chemical-, Industrial-, Civil-, Environmental- or Mechanical), Biology, or Chemistry, or a Bachelors Degree in any discipline plus 4 years’ experience in the water treatment field

  • At least 5 years sales experience in the sale of Industrial Water Treatment Service Chemicals

  • The candidate must possess solid communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Candidate should have a proven sales record and demonstrated to be successful in complex technical and relationship driven business

  • Demonstrated skills to energize , motivate and drive multi disciplines teams, which are no direct reports

  • Strong negotiator and able to work with senior industrial leaders, top management and their technical and operational staff

  • Fluent in German and English 

  • Demonstrated computer skills

  • The candidate must be willing to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter

  • Flexibility is a must

  • Ability and willingness to reside in location of posting
