Urgent Care & Emergency Veterinarian – Payson Family Pet Hospital

Payson Family Pet Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for an Urgent Care/Emergency Veterinarian to join our team!

If you enjoy the pace and variety of urgent care and emergency medicine, this is an opportunity to practice in an established, well-equipped hospital with a supportive team and the resources to provide high-quality care. Our AAHA-accredited, 11-doctor practice has a strong team culture, experienced support staff, and the resources to fully work up and manage urgent and emergency cases in-house.

Our recently expanded hospital, remodeled in 2021, includes 11 exam rooms, dedicated surgical and dental suites, an ICU, and a large treatment area. With 55+ support staff members, including multiple CVTs, you’ll have the team and resources to focus on patient care.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a veterinarian who enjoys urgent care and emergency medicine and is confident managing a varied and fast-paced caseload. Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred, though we’re open to veterinarians with strong general practice experience who are ready to take the next step.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent)
• Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Utah
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
