QA/Security Test Engineer, Data Center Migration Project

Job Description
As a QA / Security Test Engineer, you will be part of an Agile team delivering healthcare-centric security and infrastructure solutions on the Data Center-to-Azure migration program and help lead the delivery.
Responsibilities
- Author and execute test cases for each tool''s acceptance criteria (firewall rule parity, SIEM alert parity, PAM rotation, PKI chain continuity, CMDB discovery accuracy)
- Own the Go/No-Go criteria evidence and sign-off packs per application
- Perform security regression and control-validation testing post-cutover
- Track defects and validation status across the programme
Solutions & Offerings
Owns the validation and Go/No-Go evidence across every tool migration - designing and executing the test scenarios that prove parity before any cutover and curating the Definition-of-Done acceptance criteria.
Customer Success
- Actively engage with account consulting leads and client stakeholders to frame success criteria, propose solutions, and build quality innovative solutions.
- Provide leadership in the engagement and ensure best practices and technical excellence.
Experience: 5-8 Years
Educational Qualifications
- Engineering Degree - BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science / IT, or equivalent (BSc/MCA/MSc in CS/IT).
- Technical certifications in relevant technologies are desirable.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Security and infrastructure test design - functional, non-functional, and security regression
- Validation of SIEM detections, firewall rules, IAM/PAM controls, and certificate chains
- Test evidence management and acceptance-criteria sign-off
- Familiarity with KQL (for Sentinel validation) and Azure portal verification
- 5+ years in QA/test engineering, with a security or infrastructure focus
- Experience validating cutover parity during a migration programme
- Certifications: ISTQB; Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Security (SC-900) (preferred)
Good to have skills
- Proficiency in DevSecOps principles and methodologies is an added advantage.
- Advanced understanding of threat modelling and risk assessment will be a plus.
- Experience in migration of enterprise scale on-prem application to Azure
- Exposure to healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST) is desirable.
