They are seeking a dedicated Network Architect to join their dynamic team, supporting critical defense information systems.

The Role

• Perform customer coordination, initial test and acceptance, and manage network equipment and service activations.
• Configure, maintain, and upgrade network devices, adhering to strict security and performance standards.
• Develop and update project planning documentation, including IP addressing schemes and network configurations.
• Conduct systems analysis to determine hardware, software, and system functional requirements for customer resources.
• Ensure all network information is accurate and formatted according to specified requirements.
• Engage with project managers and customers to resolve issues and facilitate approvals for network services.

What You'll Need

• Proficient knowledge of network hardware specifications, configuration, testing processes, and industry standards.
• Experience in network engineering, problem management, and performance management.
• Understanding of networking architecture, evaluating new technologies, and performing needs assessments.
• Familiarity with data and voice network design, router-to-router connections using military and commercial protocols (BGP, ISIS), and switch-to-switch trunking (VLANs).
• Experience with network services (BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF) and network appliances.
• An active Secret security clearance is required.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
