Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design, scaling, and operational excellence of our multi-cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between core enterprise cloud foundations (AWS and Microsoft Azure) and our client s mission-critical enterprise applications, specifically focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform ecosystem.

You will be responsible for building robust landing zones, automating provisioning via Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managing hybrid identity, and ensuring high availability, security compliance, and optimal performance across a heterogeneous cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Platform Architecture & Engineering

  • Architect, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless integration and high availability.
  • Own the cloud infrastructure supporting our Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment. Optimize data integration pipelines (using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Logic Apps), manage environment strategies, and secure connections between Dynamics SaaS/PaaS layers and our core Azure/AWS data stores.
  • Design, evolve, and automate Azure Landing Zones and AWS multi-account structures, applying strict governance frameworks, Azure Policies, and IAM least-privilege principles.
  • Lead the adoption of IaC methodologies using Terraform, Bicep, or AWS CloudFormation to drive automated, repeatable cloud deployments.

Security, Identity & Compliance

  • Identity & Access Management: Configure and manage hybrid identity integration utilizing Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-tenant security structures.
  • Security Hardening:Implement cloud security best practices, network topologies (Hub-and-Spoke, VNets, ExpressRoute/VPN gateways), and private endpoint configurations for Dynamics and cloud services.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and AWS CloudWatch to ensure proactive incident response.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • + years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, platform operations, or DevOps, with demonstrable multi-cloud experience (Azure and AWS).
  • Deep operational knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O, CE, or Customer Service) and the Microsoft Power Platform architecture, including environment management, solution deployment pipelines, and data integration patterns.
  • Core Technical Skills:
    • Strong mastery of Microsoft Azure core services (Virtual Networks, Entra ID, Key Vault, Monitor, Logic Apps).
    • Solid competency in AWS foundational services (IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS).
    • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation).
    • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, and FinOps cost optimization principles.
