Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Google Cloud Platform)

• Eligibility: due to the nature of the engagement.
• Clearance: Top Secret (preferred; please state whether it is active or inactive)

Role overview:
The engineer will guide public-sector customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). This covers secure foundational cloud setups, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architecture, and migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities: - Provide domain expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure and solve complex cloud platform challenges
- Design and implement cloud technical architectures, migration approaches and application optimizations with customers
- Act as a technical advisor and troubleshoot customer issues
- Create best-practice recommendations, tutorials, technical articles and sample code
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; fluent English
- 3+ years automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, or CI/CD
- Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion
- Coding in at least one general-purpose language (Python, Java, Go, C/C++), including data structures, algorithms, and software design

Preferred qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or other container orchestration
- IT security practices: IAM, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management
- Experience building prototypes or applications
- Familiarity with DoD IL5/IL6 security standards.
