SAP Security Lead

e: $90/Hour – All Inclusive

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Lead to design, implement, maintain, and support SAP security solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP Security, BOBJ Security, and SAP GRC, along with the ability to lead security initiatives and work closely with technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP security activities across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

• Design, configure, and maintain SAP roles, authorizations, profiles, and user access.

• Manage SAP security requirements, access provisioning, role design, and troubleshooting.

• Configure and support SAP GRC for access control, risk analysis, and user provisioning.

• Support SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Security, including user access, roles, and authorization management.

• Conduct security reviews, segregation-of-duties (SoD) analysis, and remediation activities.

• Work with functional and technical teams to understand business security requirements.

• Troubleshoot authorization and access-related issues across SAP environments.

• Support security audits, compliance requirements, and access reviews.

• Lead security-related deployments, enhancements, and production support activities.

• Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and standards.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAP security team members.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC Security.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Security.

• Strong experience with SAP GRC.

• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Security.

• Expertise in SAP role design, authorization concepts, profiles, and access management.

• Experience with SAP user administration and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts.

• Experience with SoD, access risk analysis, and compliance requirements.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Experience supporting security across integrated SAP cloud and on-premise environments.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on SAP Security Lead with strong experience across ECC, S/4HANA, BOBJ, and GRC. Candidates with additional experience in IBP, SAC, or BTP Security will be preferred.
