Python Developer

AMS is supporting a leading global consulting firm in hiring an experienced Python Developer for an initial 12-month contract. (Offices in London/Birmingham/Bristol) You'll be responsible for designing and developing Python-based solutions while working closely with client teams across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Python applications using clean, scalable, and reusable code.<br />Build RESTful APIs with FastAPI, including API endpoints, request/response validation, authentication, and error handling.<br />Design and optimize SQL queries for retrieving, updating, and managing data efficiently.<br />Integrate APIs with databases using Python database libraries or ORMs such as SQLAlchemy.<br />Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications, identifying and resolving performance, functionality, and production issues.<br />Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements, implement features, review code, and maintain technical documentation.Requirements: Strong Python development experience.<br />FAST API Experience<br />SQL Experience JavaScript Experience (Desirable) Comfortable working in a consulting environment.We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
